Recipe - Health Grilled Sweet Potato Fries
Next time you have a craving for fries, try switching them for this healthier (and my opinion tastier) option.
Sweet potatoes do contain slightly more calories than regular potatoes but they are more nutritionally dense and an excellent source of vitamin A!
Ingredients
2 x sweet potatoes
2 x tablespoons olive oil
sprinkle of salt
sprinkle of cayenne pepper
Method
Pre heat the oven to 180degrees
Wash the sweet potatoes
Cut length wise into strips about 1cm in width. (you don't need to remove the skin)
Toss the sweet potatoes in the olive oil, salt and cayenne until well coated.
Place a sheet of non stick baking paper on an oven tray
Lay the chips out onto the tray
Place in the over and leave to bake for 20minutes before turning them over and baking for another 15-20minutes.
